M.O.S.T./WAFT announces process results fo "AquaFuel". The Patented process encompasses an electric discharge on Carbon rods within ordinary, sea or other forms of water. The 6,000F+ arc separates the Hydrogen and Oxygen structure as in Electrolysis. The solid carbon turns directly to gas during the process and surrounds the Hydrogen and Oxygen thus preventing them from recombining. The plasma then cools in water surrounding the discharge and bubbles to the surface where it is collected and stored.

This system is designed tp process 6,000 gallons per hour of sewage. The treated water is discharged as pure, potable water. A by-product of the purification process is the extraction of particulate matter which is sold as high grade fertilizer. A portion of AquaFuel that is produced is used to fuel the generator that supplies the plant's electrical requirements. This drastically reduces operating costs by eliminating the need to purchase electricity. A second generator provides electricity to local customers or sold back to the grid. Approximately 50,000 cubic feet per hour of AquaFuel is produced during the purification process. The two generators consume approximately 10,000 cubic feet per hour. The excess gas can be bottled and sold similar to other combustible gases, such as acetylene, propane and butane. As an option, additional (130KW) generators can be fueled by this excess gas to produce up to a total of 1MW of electrical power which can be sold to customers at the prevailing price per KWH.
